Lendon of Huntsville is more than a neighborhood—it’s a continuation of a legacy. Set against the rich agricultural backdrop of Jones Valley, Lendon stands on land once cultivated by the Jones family, whose presence in the area dates back to 1939, when Carl T. Jones purchased thousands of acres for farming and grazing. Their farm, known today as Jones Farm, is still recognized as one of the largest working urban farms in the U.S., and even now, public trails and ponds preserve a piece of that green legacy.

A Tradition of Community, Built for Modern Living

Lendon takes its inspiration from classic Southern neighborhoods—where life unfolded within walking distance of schools, shops, and social spaces. This traditional neighborhood development (TND) celebrates timeless Southern architecture and a slower pace of life, yet is designed with a modern embrace for walkability, community interaction, and architectural charm.
